I am first and formost a servant.  I strive to help others and to be kind.  Don't get me wrong, sometimes this is difficult, and I find myself wishing that I could take the same shortcuts that I have seen others take.  However, I realize that there is no future in anger.

I have felt anger.  I have felt hate.  I have felt jealousy.  I have felt greed.  I have been different person than the one I want to be.

I wish to feel peace.  I wish to feel love.  I wish to feel contentment.  I wish to feel comfortable.  I wish to be my own person.

…and I strive to, every day.

I love to cook, to write, and to share.  I love my friends.  They have supported me and helped me build myself back from depression.  Depression threatened to take my life, as surely as a knife or a gun.  Sometimes you need someone to help disarm your darkest demons.
